The Georgetown Merchants Association is seeking to hire a long-term content and blog writer. The content writer for our website will produce two 400-500 word blog posts per month- one focused on a specific topic in the Georgetown neighborhood (ie- history of breweries in the neighborhood, how the neighborhood serves as a design district) and one focused on a featured business/business owner. The purpose of our website’s blog is to highlight the people and history that make our neighborhood special. There will also be around 5 additional blog posts for specific events and holidays. This gig will include light interviewing via phone/email of featured businesses. Experience interviewing, fact finding, and light research are desired.

Members of the Georgetown neighborhood are encouraged to apply.
